Have a Happy Holiday Season!

I've been a very bad girl. I've neglected you and I'm sorry. Please accept apologies and forgive me.

These past few months have seen a lot of up and downs. A lot of hit and misses. I have been working my normal job and doing a lot of overtime, over 60+ hours a week, and this has caused me to neglect my passion.

I often get asked when my next book is coming out and I promise there are a few things in the works. I know I tend to give you scenarios and to try to stir your passions during my blogging but I want you know how much I do appreciate the readers I have. I am in no way a bestseller, but I have had some great comments and emails from those of you that enjoy my work. I am very happy that you have liked what you've read of me so far.

When I say "Read of me" I want you to understand my full meaning. Each story I write is a piece of who I am. Whether it be a comedic take on an event or a sprialing erotic story that lasts only a few minutes, I put myself into that story body and soul. It's the only time I feel free to be who I am inside without the restraints of who I am physically.

I wanted to tell you that I am Thankful for YOU this season. I hope you had a happy Thanksgiving and I hope you have a very, Merry Christmas or Happy Hanukkah. If you don't celebrate the seasons then know that my wish for you is to find some happiness this winter and to always stay warm.

New and Exciting News!

Hello all! Long time, no type! When I started this blog I had every intention of writing every day, however things got hectic very fast.

Frist off, my sister is pregnant. My sister and I have a very unique relationship. We share everything, we always have. I don't consider it MY HOUSE, I consider it OUR HOUSE. So I've been rearanging things and trying to make room for a baby. Two weeks ago she also totaled our car. It was a pretty bad wreck, but thankfully she and the baby are ok.

On to something NEW and EXCITING. My anthology is now available for purchase! Between Cassie's Sheets is an anthology with six stories and each one is a different take on love and passion. I love LOVE. I adore PASSION. I thrive on a HAPPY ENDING and I believe that these things are within our grasp every day. I don't believe that love has boundaries. I also don't believe that love and passion can be confined and labeled. I think my work shows that.

As you can see the cover underwent some changes. :) Thanks to my lovely sister for jazzing it up a bit.

I've also created an author page on GoodReads, so please drop in and say hi! I would love to hear all your thoughts about my work. I appreciate each and every reader I have. Have a love filled day!

Cover for Between Cassie's Sheets

Here is the cover I created for my anthology ebook to be released very soon on Amazon. :) It was originally supposed to be released on July 4th, but ran into a few snags. I wanted to share the cover with you because I love it so much. It's very simple and sexy.

What do you think?

What Women Want

Everyone once in a while I see a question surface. It typically brings out arguments with one side or the other leaving the conversation hastily. What do Women Want?

I'm fixing to break the girl code. Oh yes, I am going to shatter the code and give you all a nice run down of what a woman wants.

The answer is: It depends on the woman.

Some women want a man who is there for them. Who supports them in their every endeavor. Someone that will hold them when times get rough, wipe away the tears when when she can't hold pain inside any more. She wants someone who is her cheerleader and who is honest enough to tell her when she's screwing up. Who gives her what she needs, in and out of the bedroom. She wants a mate. She wants someone who compliments her personality. What that woman wants is a partner.

Some women want a man who will be there when she gets an itch. When the night is upon us and the house is silent. She wants a man to be her companion and to take care of her needs. She wants someone who will kiss away the pain and make her forget her name. She wants a hot encounter that will steal her breath away. What she wants is a lover who knows his woman isn't looking to mate, but wants that human touch, that male presence to take her to another place.

Some women want both. They want a mate and they want a lover. They want it hot and passionate. They want it sweet and giving. They want to be taken care of and they want to take care of someone. Those are your girls that want the picket fence, the red room of pain and Book of Love.

And some women...some women have it all. They don't want anything except what they already have. They want to wake up and see their love beside them, to kiss their children at night before bed. They want the dirty dishes, the soccer matches and chaos that family life brings. They don't WANT anything because they were lucky in love and lucky to find their mate and lover.

So the next time you ask yourself "What do women want?" You should stop and look at the woman you asking that question of. We don't all want the same thing, but we all want to matter to someone.

It's In His Kiss

When you kiss someone the wealth of your feelings goes into that one single, simple action. Your mouth on theirs and your tongues dueling (if it is of the French variety).

But let me back up just a bit here. There are many kinds of kisses and you do at least one of those a day. The kiss you give to a relative on their cheek or a peck on their lips. The kiss you give to your child. That long held check kiss or on the top of their head, to show your deep feelings and abiding, unconditional love. Every bit of feelings can be expressed in that one encounter. Then you have that deep, passionate kiss you give to a lover. Let's give a definition to the word "lover" shall we?

lov·er
noun \ˈlə-vər\

Definition of LOVER

1
a : a person in love; especially : a man in love with a woman
b plural : two persons in love with each other
2
: an affectionate or benevolent friend
3
4
a : paramour
b : a person with whom one has sexual relations
As you can see by the above definition, a lover is someone with whom you have intense feelings for. Someone with whom you have sex with and who knows you on a sensual level. When I say the word "lover" I am referencing that person who makes your heart race, your blood pump and your breath to hitch. The person who you think about before you fall asleep at night. That is a lover.
I am NOT referencing a one night stand. Have you ever kissed a one night stand? Someone you just met, have no knowledge of or care for? Typically, no you don't. A one night stand is outside of this post because a one night stand is pure pleasure and never again to be repeated.

So...back to your lover. Studies show that when kissing your stress level actually decreases and also causes a large part of your brain to become active, thereby causing you to feel happier, more active and less inclined to fight. Kissing even causes your cholesterol to lower.

You know what I like? Those slow, deep kisses that make you sweat, that make your body heat and your train of thought scatter. I like having my body slammed against my partner, my body pressed tightly against his, my arms wrapped around him. I love when he tilts my head and plunges his tongue into my mouth. I love his taste and his touch. I love when he breaks the kiss to take a deep breath before his mouth fuses back to mine.

When you kiss someone you feel them. Your senses open up to their smell, their taste, their feel. Your body comes alive and you literally explode with senses. You want to know how your man feels about you? It's in his kiss.

The Art of Wooing

I have been implored to write about the art of wooing. Why? Because it is dead. Wooing at one point was hidden glances and secret touches. It was whispered words in a dark corner and letters sent to your would-be lover.

With the dawn of the digital age it appears that the art of wooing has been lost. Much like the ancient languages of long ago.

Imagine if you will. A crowded party. You are in a beautiful dress that you spent three days choosing, your shoes are a bit snug but they make your legs look fantastic. You spent an hour alone making sure your hair was in perfect order and that your make-up gave you that natural sun-kissed look.

Your eyes meet over the crowded room. You run your hand across your stomach making sure your dress hasn't bunched up. Your hand then drifts up to your hair briefly touching it as your eye lashes lower ever so slightly. The handsome man gazes at your face before his eyes drift down to your décolletage. Your smooth, pale skin gleams in the lowered lights and you smile ever so softly. You drift off knowing that if he fancies you, if he finds you attractive, he will find you.

A bit later you have lost sight of him, and you are mildly disappointed. He was handsome and you did feel that spark that arched between you. It has grown stuffy in the room, people are starting to crush against you and you feel smothered. You find a door that leads to an outside patio and you pull open the door. A gentle breeze pushes against your face and you gleefully step outside and let the night envelop you as the door closes and shuts out the party raging behind you

You walk up the railing and look up at the moon so big in the dark sky above you. Drops of dew form on your eyelashes and you gently wipe them away, while your eyes are closed you hear a soft shuffle but you aren't aware of what it is so you turn towards the sound. Your eyes pop open and you see the man from the part standing in front of you. You look up and meet his stare. A stare so hot that you immediately grow aroused. He reaches up and runs his thumb down your cheek and as you tip your head back you expose your throat to him. He leans down and places his mouth against your ear.

"You are beautiful. Lovely as a flower and I want to claim you as my own." He then kisses the corner of your mouth and your body heats up. You reach up to touch him but he has already backed away towards the door.

You stand there looking at one another, and you know how much you would like to be claimed. The handsome, dark haired mans turns and disappears through the door as if the encounter never happens.

Do you chase the man? Do you implore your hostess to introduce you? In today's world, this encounter wouldn't have happened. You would have received a facebook message that says something to the effect of "Ur Hawt, wut size r ur tits?"

So seduction and wooing are lost to us, but I believe there could be a resurgence. Hell, we brought back bell bottom pants right? If you are reading this and you have a significant other, woo him or her. Send them a message on facebook that has nothing to do with blatant sex. Or better yet...walk up to them and whisper in their ear what you love most about them, end it with a soft caress. You will thank me later.

All the Small Things

There is something terribly sensual about every day activities that you may not stop to recognize. But when you do, when you open your eyes and see what is in front of you and what is available to you it's hard to shut that part of your brain down.

Take baking for instance. Some people hate to bake or cook in any way. But consider this. You are taking regular ingredients and mixing them in such a way that when a thick, luscious brownie comes out of a hot pan and nearly melts in your mouth your eyes roll back in glee. You sigh or you moan in ecstasy as the chocolate releases those endorphins that can only be duplicated by making love.

Whether it's the vibration of the washing machine or the steamy, soapy water in your sink as you hand wash your dishes there is pleasure to be found everywhere around you. Life is not as dull as you are led to believe. Let's take a little trip shall we?

Let's say you are outside. It's a nice, hot summer day so you are wearing a pair of jean cut-offs and a tshirt so old and thin you can literally see through it. Again, it's hot, so you have forgone your bra. Your bare breasts are swaying as you walk towards your car and you notice the dust and pollen caked on the trunk. You see leaves stuck to the bumper and you decide to give your car a much needed wash. Pulling out buckets, soaps and sponges you turn your hose on and douse the car. The water splashes back on you and now you are soaked to the skin, your thin tshirt clinging to your naked breasts, water running down your thighs. You push your hair back from your face and frown at the car, but continue on anyway, at this point you are unaware of the picture you present to your neighbors.

You fill the buckets and add in the soap making the water slick and topped with bubbles. You push your sponge deep into the bucket of water and then start to wipe the car down, as you do so you are starting to build up a sweat, the heat outside is becoming unbearable. You quickly look around, making sure no one is watching, you pick up the hose and hold it over your head letting the water cascade down. You moan quietly as your body quickly cools, and knowing you can't stand there like that you put the hose down again and fling your hair back over your shoulder before getting back down to business. You are leaned over the hood, your wet jeans clinging to your behind, water sliding down your back when you look behind you. You felt eyes on you didn't you? That's because your neighbor is standing on his porch, watching you. How long had he gone unnoticed? Your eyes clash and he smiles, tilting his head at you in acknowledgement. Silently urging you on.

Your cheeks heat up in embarrassment as you look down and see your nipples standing at attention your transparent top making no secret as to their size and shape. Now this is where you have to make your choice. Do you continue and revel in your own femininity and allow your neighbor to take part in your show? Do you run into the house full of embarrassment and throw on ten layers of clothing?

I don't know about you, but I've always been the type the revel.

So even the small things...such as washing your car...can become an erotic adventure if you let it. Not everything erotic has to turn into an all out sex marathon. Eroticism is itself a feeling. Does it make you feel sexy? Does it turn you on? Knowing your boundaries and accepting that part of yourself is the first step. Go ahead ladies...wash the car.
